    Office Location Report – Josette

            With no other sites available, we will set up shop at the ReMax office in Scappoose, opening date to be determined.  The treasurer provided the first months rent.

    Fund Raising Mailer Report – Jane

            Report continued to next meeting.

    Platform Committee update – Jolene 

            The final version is posted on www.dpo.org

A special thank you to Susan Conn for proof reading the draft and helping pull together the final version.

Old Business

   Things to sell at fairs – Jolene

            We will purchase buttons (www.evolvefish.com and  www.donnellycolt.com)

and have candidates supplies available at the office and at our booths this summer.

Motion made to sell bottled water at the county fair-passed. 

New Business

    Election Results/Reorganization preparation

            At our next meeting, our newly elected precinct persons will have been officially recognized. As soon as possible and looking at July, we will proceed with our reorganization and election of officers.  A precinct training session will also be scheduled for July.

    DNC delegate update – Jolene

            Delegates from CD1 to the national convention will be chosen on Saturday, June 7^th at the Aloha High School.

    Plan our summer activities

            July 4^th          Clatskanie – Earl sent the information to Julane for registration

            Jul 9-14         Rainier Days – Roger will take the lead in Rainier.

            Jul 16-20       Columbia County Fair – please sign up via email to Jolene.

            Aug date       Vernonia Jamboree – Ryan is checking on the date

            Labor Day     State Fair – we need to man 2 shifts with 4 people each for the morning and afternoon shifts

            Sep 13^th        Scappoose Sauerkraut Festival – booth needs volunteers

            Sep 26^th        Octoberfest at Columbia Co. Fairgrounds

            Oct 8^th           Salmon Festival at the Col Co Fairgrounds – Earl will lead.

            Oct 15^th         Candidate Forum at Scappoose High School – Ryan is organizing 

Adopt a Highway 

    We'll need to pick a date this fall for our roadside cleanup.  Ryan will arrange for high school students to help.
